The Half Moon in Plumpton is a beautiful two hundred year old traditional country pub.

Nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Half Moon is situated five minutes from both the historic county town of Lewes and the charming village of Ditchling.

The Half Moon at Plumpton offers a "Quintessentially English" pub experience. We are extremely proud of our menu, which changes with the seasons and uses only the finest locally sourced ingredients that are available. Our award winning Chef, Wayne Cortilla has spent the past decade refining his skills in Sussex and brings with him an unrivalled knowledge of the best ingredients that the County can provide from locally sourced meats and fish to the finest Harveys beer and an unrivalled list of wine and champagnes.
